On behalf of the School of Biomedical Sciences at Universidad Austral (Argentina), we are pleased to invite you to share and participate in the postgraduate course «Actualizaciones en Neurociencia Aplicada y Práctica Clínica para el Sur Global» (Updates in Applied Neuroscience and Clinical Practice for the Global South).
This course is especially aimed at graduates of Medicine, Nutrition, and Nursing programs from Universidad Austral’s School of Biomedical Sciences, as well as graduates from other universities with related backgrounds who wish to deepen their knowledge of clinical neuroscience from a situated and contextualized perspective.
The course offers a comprehensive academic experience focused on the specific challenges of the Global South. It features a distinguished international faculty with extensive experience in neuroscience, offering an updated and interdisciplinary approach to studying the nervous system in diverse clinical settings.
Key highlights of the program include:
- The integration of innovative educational technologies through the Neurotorium platform.
- Endorsements from UNESCO, the Science Diplomacy, Neuroscience, Technology and Society Network (DICIENTS), and the Argentine-Italian Scientific Network (RCAI).
- Scholarships available for candidates who meet the course’s academic profile; selection is open until July 31.
- An international masterclass titled “Trends in Brain Health, Whole-Body Health, and Exposome for the Global South,” led by renowned neuroscientist Dr. Agustín Ibáñez, as part of the open-access activities of the program.
