The 1st FALAN Latin American Training Program in Neuroscience (LATP) 2026 now has its own official website, providing participants and the neuroscience community with a dedicated space to follow the program, access academic resources, and learn more about this first regional training experience.
The LATP is an intensive neuroscience training initiative designed to strengthen advanced education and scientific collaboration among young researchers from across Latin America. The first cohort brings together approximately 28 selected participants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
Hosted across Santiago and Valparaíso, Chile, the program combines lectures, hands-on laboratory workshops, and direct interaction with leading neuroscientists from the region. Its academic activities include training in areas such as Cellular Neurobiology, Neurotranscriptomics, Computational Neuroscience, and Electrophysiology, continuing the objectives established for the first edition of the FALAN Neuroscience School.
