Dear FALAN Members:
The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed challenging times for all. In addition, it looks like our region will still be confronted by this situation in the near future. In view of this, the on-site 3rd FALAN Congress has been postponed to September 2022 and will take place in Belem and organized by the Sociedade Brasileira de
Neurociências e Comportamento.
In the meantime, the FALAN executive committee together with the Members Societies, have decided to organize a 2-3 day virtual meeting that will take place in September 2021. This will allow maintaining the FALAN momentum and foster interactions of our Neuroscience community till we can all meet again. Moreover, the elections of the new FALAN committee will take place during this virtual meeting.
An ad-hoc organizing committee has already been established. This will be responsible for defining the format and date of the virtual meeting.
