We are pleased to announce the list of applicants selected to participate in the 1st FALAN Latin American Training Program in Neuroscience (LATP) 2026.
This first edition of the program will bring together 28 outstanding students and early-career researchers for an intensive month of training at leading Chilean universities, offering a unique opportunity for academic exchange, advanced learning, and regional collaboration in neuroscience.
The program will take place from August 10 to September 5, 2026, with activities hosted by:
- Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
- Universidad de Chile
- Universidad de Santiago de Chile
- Universidad de Valparaíso
Participants will receive specialized training in:
- Cellular Neurobiology
- Neurotranscriptomics
- Computational Neuroscience
- Electrophysiology
The program also includes participation in the IV FALAN Congress in Neuroscience (August 31 – September 3) and Neurofest (September 4–5), providing students with direct interaction with leading neuroscientists from Latin America and around the world.
