The Sociedad Chilena de Neurociencia (SCN) calls PhD students, postdocs, and young researchers at initial career stages to participate in the «Young Neuroscientists Symposium» of the Congress. Applicants to this symposium will be selected by contest according to their scientific merits.
Bases
1. Four slots are available. Selected applicants will be invited to present their work in our meeting. All selected participants will receive full fellowships, covering registration and stay at the Hotel Hippocampus during the congress.
2. At the time of submission, the date of the PhD degree of postdoctoral and young researchers should not exceed 5 years.
3. The awardees must attend the entire congress.
4. Up to two slots will be awarded to applicants who reside outside Chile, and the remaining slots will be given to applicants from Chile.
5. Only one applicant from the same laboratory or collaborative research group can be awarded. 6. The presentations must be in English.
Applicant should submit the following documentation:
1. An English abstract describing the work to be presented (max. 250 words).
2. A curriculum vitae including personal data such as full name, nationality, date and place of birth, country of residence, affiliation, education, awards and honors, research experience, publications, meeting presentations, and any other relevant information.
3. A recommendation letter from the thesis advisor, postdoctoral supervisor or head of the department.
